Went to the flower market in Boston today. They took off the brown paper covering the glass front doors. I was so happy to open them, step in and said, ahh... It was a sigh of relief, until I started talking to the vendors. They seemed so defeated, all used to the fast pace of the find, haggling with the customers and each other. The more I walked around and talked to them, the more I was saddened by all of them. "Business is so slow, we have flowers, but no weddings or events". I told my friend/vendor Frankie, we have to keep trying and come up with new ideas to sell. My idea this week, "back yard weddings and elopements". I have my first tomorrow!
